lingering thought #12

Last night I said, "I'm probably a lot meaner than people think I am."
I don't think I like that. Granted, I was suggesting that people think that I'm extremely nice, so being meaner than that is not being really mean. However, this still reveals that I'm not as nice as the image I portray. Does this make me fake and not a nice person to some degree? So basically, am I one of those phony, cruel people that I despise?
