I have been quite the busy gal lately. I seem to spend much too much of my time working. I am working in a factory, where I sweat like a nasty pig, and have somehow failed to quit the Burger King. I consider myself lucky, for is it not every young girls dream to one day get the opportunity to work in a factory while doing a little BK on the side? So after work, sleep, and occasional consumption of food products, the majority of my week is gone. How sad. However, I am a survivor and will push through the grueling weeks, in need of a good stretch, nap, a drink, and a nice tight hug.
Even if you don't have faith in fate, fate has faith in you.
I don't really know that I believe in fate, but I do like that thought. I'd like to extend the thought to all things, not fate alone. Even if you don't have faith in something, something always has faith in you. Perhaps that is one of the most important things in life, a necessity to be successful. Faith in yourself and knowing that someone/thing has faith in you too.
After an exhausting evening, the drive home is essential relaxation time. It is in those precious minutes that I become a superstar. The road becomes my audience and the driver's seat my stage. The volume is turned up and the window is turned down. Despite the jumbled lyrics and forgotten words, despite the off pitch notes and made up harmonies, despite the occasional yawn and commercial break, the superstar within emerges. Jamming to the car radio is an essential element of life. Those not doing so are missing out. So put the vocal cords in motion and exercise your right to rock.
